Realtek Audio last driver that supports split streams

Im on an EVGA x79 classified now and its driving me crazy cause its ALC898 and it cant do split output streams the option in Realtek Audio has been changed from “Make Front and Rear output devices playback two different audio streams simultaneously” to “Separate all input jacks as independent input devices”. Thus I cannot split streams anymore and game through headphones and listen to music through speakers at the same time anymore and its a really important feature I’m sad to see go. I have a feeling the problem is the driver but maybe the new chips only have ability for single output? Anyone know the last driver that supports split streams? ie highest version number?

Also that was the fastest registration confirmation email I’ve ever gotten in my life. You must have tuned this server… looks sharp.

For anyone still looking, I have 7950 installed over a previous ASUS ROG (station-drivers) in Win10, and it does offer the split option - not sure if that came from the ROG, or the 7950

just wish I could dump the ROG panel and get back to the MSI panel or whatever it was before, the driver update often does not replace the panel.

My board is ASUS but not ROG.
