Hi guys! I installed a Realtek High Definition Audio driver for Windows 98SE from here: http://turkeys4me.byethost4.com/programs/?i=1. The sound doesn’t work, but an “HDA Sound” device appears as a preferred playback device in the “Multimedia” window of Control Panel. If I select this device and try playing some music, there is no sound.
What sound card are you trying to install? Or at least what is the hardware ID in Device Manager?
