I have some general question as I was able to extract the bios from DELL site, applied it onto the image with fit.exe but I was no able to determinate how to save service tag, system board map and other necessary information from old backup BIOS to a new one.
In model information txt I had this
VendorName=Dell Inc.
OemString=Model_File
SystemName=Inspiron 5X59
Version=1.4.1
Model=0767,0768,077D,077E
In general the outimage was working but the service tag was missing and after correcting this in bios after the boot I had black screen … no more posting. Anyone here can correct me how to do it ?? Thx in advance.
