I saw that someone had the same problem as me on a similar card, and I wanted to know if it was possible to mod a BIOS to allow me to have the 4G Decode function?

Advised to do backup/dump of the current SPI, a dump with Intel ME9 FPTtool is a must.

Use AMIBCP and change Default to USER on that string, just that not the itself value of the string. Dont ever touch values like Enable/Disable/Auto etc… most of then will break the system.
If the desired string is in hidden sub-menu, then its this one that u need to change the access and not the string itself.
Other option is IFRextract and edit Setup and AMITSE/SetupData, a little more work but needed when AMIBCP cant do it.
