OS: Windows 7 64-bit (SP1 with SHA-2 updates installed)
What I’ve Tried:
Official AMD packages fail to detect/install the hardware natively because DEV_98E4 is omitted from Windows 7 64-bit INF files.
I tried manually editing the 64-bit INF file under [ATI.Mfg.NTamd64.6.1] to add DEV_98E4, but Device Manager fails to recognize or match the driver (setupapi.dev.log doesn’t pick up the ID match).
What I Need: Could someone experienced with AMD INF modding help create or patch a functional 64-bit Windows 7 INF (or modified Dell package) for DEV_98E4 / Stoney Ridge? A modified Dell package (based on driver build 16.40.2301 or 17.x) that includes the correct binding directives and display services for this specific APU would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
Edit by Fernando: Thread moved into the “Windows 7” Category and title shortened
Thanks Fernando! However, the drivers on Treexy are for Windows 10 (version 27.20.x), not Windows 7.
Windows 7 actively blocks the installation on my Dell Inspiron 11 3185 because AMD omitted the DEV_98E4 (Stoney Ridge A9-9420e) hardware ID from the Win7 x64 driver packages.
I am not looking for a standard driver download utility—I need an experienced driver modder who can properly patch/mod a Windows 7 x64 AMD INF (or driver package) for DEV_98E4 and upload it to the Internet Archive so users with this APU can run Windows 7 with full hardware acceleration. Could someone here help create this modded INF/package?
According to website is blocking me from skip is massge say download driver app and l not want to bc is force me to install the app here the proof and also when l tap the X is not download the driver and look like is scam website man here is the proof

They’re here to make money to no give away their free “Work”…download the app or get out of there, simple.
@Fuf
Unfortunately I cannot really help you and just gave you the link to a web site, where such Win7 compatible drivers are offered.
As you surely know, the manufacturers of display adapters are not interested in giving new graphic adapters support of outdated Windows Operating Systems.
