Hi to all forum members, I have a small embedded PC with AMI Aptio IV BIOS, and i actually want to unlock more (all) options in UEFI. Meaning Memory configuration, DIV (BCLK) Overclocking (Yes i know that i must to unlock ME first) etc. So actually all Advanced tab. In AMIBCP its clearly visible but in UEFI theres only some of it. I actually tried everythink i cloud so changing from “Default” to “USER” in AMIBCP, also i was trying to somehow change it using IFRExtractor (Setup extracted) But i cloudn’t find any hex values that can “unlock” these options. Can someone take a look at these dump file and help me with unlocking these options? In attachments i send the original bios dump from fptw64.
bios.rar (4.1 MB)
That’s the common mistake, it’s not supposed to set USER to all (most of times we get a bricked system for sure), the principle is set USER to the parent menu and only next sub in line if necessary. This being an old Aptio IV bios and assuming here the “old leaked” tool AMIBCP, when this has no effect then it must be using IFR
EDIT:
Sir… if you use the search box on the forum, you’ll get your eyes full of IFR…
Thanks for your reply MeatWar! And okay, that makes sense, just i was trying.
But what about IFRExtractor? Actually i was looking on other posts here on Winraid or other forums but none of those are working or just someone editied the bios file on those posts to make it unlock… I also saw that it can be done using grub in efishell but i dont know how to do that correctly
