[Request] Aopen MP67-D QM67 chipset to accept IVY Bridge Processor

I have my Bios Dump and a Dump from a guy from another forum that’s slightly larger

This is my Dump
The next one was created my another guy on the other forum!
https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads…n-mp67-d.35286/

Ultimately I would like to use my I5 3320M which is supported by the Aopen MP67DI model which is how he created his bios from that model.
My concern his would have his UUID Mac address etc if I’m not mistaken.
Also could I just flash it with FPTW64 instead of my scary programmer with the faulty clip?

Thanks,

MP67-DI_forum_DL.bin.zip (4.79 MB)

mp67-d103_my_DUMP.full.bin.zip (4.5 MB)

Dump files have no mcode, orom vbios or ME8.x for IvyBridge, its all for Sandy, so start working and you can try to add mcode, orom vbios and ME FW image 8.1 to your current dump.
Use MMTool, UBU and FICT tool…now does the bios volumes has space all this mods…that maybe an issue.

CPU Microcodes
BIOS modules (PCI ROM, EFI and others)
Intel (Converged Security) Management Engine: Drivers, Firmware and Tools
[Guide] Clean Dumped Intel Engine (CS)ME/(CS)TXE Regions with Data Initialization

Will my created file still be backwards compatible with my current sandy bridge processor?
Here are a couple of bios files I found for the MP67DI that have ivy support!

The files are much smaller!

MP67DI_IPI10.zip (2.62 MB)

MP67DI_IPI12.zip (2.46 MB)

The new files you posted have mcode and orom vbios for IvyBridge, but they are update files so partial bios image only, not complete bios image with attached firmware image.
They do not contain ME FW image on it.

Crap thats not good maybe I can at least get the micro code and vbios from the posted bios(s). Now to find a guide! I will check back in a few. No luck tougher than I thought. Turns out I cannot use the UBU tool, because I need to add things that are not there yet!

More reading to do!

Okay guys I keep failing to add the Bios information for vbios it does not show up in the bios after I add it!

Need some help if anyone is around!

Bump to the top you guys forgot about me!

Help with adding VBios for. IVY, keep failing to add!

for all AOpen MP7-D owners

first of all:
the BIOS SPI chip MX25L6445E on the MP67-D motherboard is too small for the MP7-DI ME FW 8.xx
You can update the recent ME 7.xx to the latest version 7.1.92.3273
or you disable the ME

NOT to do:
you can not upgrade a MP67-D with an MP67-DI IPI13 BIOS region by using the AMI flash tool because you will kill the current -D BIOS region.

to do:
Before you try something make a full BIOS dump including all regions from the current BIOS and store the dump at a safe place. File size of the full the dump is 8 MB.
Flash the IPI13 BIOS region via flashrom, the onboard SPI terminal or a flash clip & external a programmer.
Attention, do not attach more than 3.3 V on the MX25L6445E !

By the way I have three MP67-D with DI BIOS, Ivy Bridge quad core CPUs and disabled Intel ME in use.

@ snakeman
IPI13 contains Sandy & Ivy GOP driver and VBIOS 2143.
Which VBIOS version do you want?
