[Request] Aorus 15P Unlock

Hi all, I am looking to fully unlock the bios on my old laptop. A couple years back Zentsi helped unlock a couple of parameters for me, without having to do a flash, but OEM support for this laptop is abysmal and their software is broken; so I’d like to unlock the BIOS fully so I can ditch the software and just do things manually.

I have extracted the bios with a CH341a programmer using NeoProgrammer 2.2.0.10 in Windows 11. It detects the chip as a “W25Q256JV” however the chip is labelled W25R256JV.

The only program I could find that lists the exact chip is ASProgrammer, but I cannot get it to detect or read the chip (even though it does detect the programmer itself).

I am somewhat confident that I have extracted the BIOS completely/correctly, by viewing in UEFITool, though the file is larger than when dumped from Windows.

Is there someone here that can confirm I have correctly extracted the BIOS and then create an unlocked version for me, please?

Could you provide screenshot of some settings that are currently visible in bios setup and the output MEInfo Verified and Measured Boot value on FPF.

Both hash Bios Region are different.

Sure thing;

This is the output of MEInfo, is this what you’re after?

Intel (R) ME Info Version 15.0.41.2.zip (2.2 KB)

Both values are enabled in the FPF, there’s nothing we can do. It’ll always result in a brick.

Hello @karfel, I have something for you. If you interested in completing this request, it may worth trying to patch the bios with srep.

Here’s what I found on the web:

frogotthen made this nonsense of cfg

And it worked opening Advanced tab with nothing else available

Yes, I’m still digging into how srep works it’s pretty much new ground play for me lol.

ahh I hope this isn’t the end of the road, put a lot of time and effort in to get this far. 3 programmers, 2 test clips and god knows how many different versions of programs until I finally got something extracted that looked right.
