[REQUEST] Asrock X99 extreme4 Bios help

Please forgive my ignorance as I am very new to this. I am trying to do the Xeon v3 unlock Turbo mod for my motherboard however I am not able to even get the bios.bin file to modify it due to the fact that asrock has all their bioses in .exe format even the ROMs and im not sure how to extract it. here is the bios from the asrock website (i am on 3.60) https://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/X99%20Extreme4/#BIOS
I am also not sure how to do this bios turbo mod exactly so if anybody could do that it would be greatly appreciated but if not but I suppose I could make another thread on here for my problems. Thank you

@x99v3turboboi - I assume you are following some guide? Then carry on, here is the BIOS file, it’s on the page you linked
https://download.asrock.com/BIOS/2011/X9…e4(3.80)ROM.zip << Latest
https://download.asrock.com/BIOS/2011/X9…e4(3.60)ROM.zip << 3.60

yes, however, this bios is not in .bin form any idea on what to do?

@x99v3turboboi - bin/rom = same/same, rename the extension to .bin if it makes you feel better, then carry on with what you’re doing in the guide

thank you I mod the bios and then use ubu tool to bypass asrock bios security and then flash from the EZ flash but you must rename the new modded bios file name to factory for the EZ flash tool in the asrock uefi to detect

hi bud i have an asrock extreme 6/3.1 board with xeon 2699 v3 cpu i have used the mmatool to remove the mc code and save the bios which can be seen but i get security warning when flashing. So i downloaded the ubu tool and ran it but it says no files found?? the folder called files is there. can you tell me how you by passed the security? thanks

I ran it through MMtool to remove the 6f microcode to unlock my xeon all core turbo it was on of the steps and then run it through this software called UBU to bypass asrock’s safety measures (they have a guide on this) and flash it through their own UEFI instant flash and make sure to rename it the new modified bios the same as the factory so the instant flash can detect it.
