[Request] Asus P9X79 Mod Request

Motherboard: Asus P9X79
Aptio IV Bios
Ver 4302: https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/LGA2011/P9X79/P9X79-ASUS-4302.zip?model=p9x79
AMIBCP Used: AMIBCP_455070_Patched.rar - Google Drive

Description: I am trying to make XHCI Hand-off and EHCI Hand-off visible to the user in the bios setup. And additionally, if possible, turn off “Opportunistic Self-Refresh” and “Memory Power Save” (Presumably Precharge Power Down) settings. I found these as strings in UEFITool (0.28), though I am unsure whether these can be turned off as I did not find them in the extract of the setup. I did however, In AMIBCP (AMIBCP_455070_Patched), locate a setting called “Memory Configuration” in Advanced > System Agent Configuration, though I am unsure whether this is related.

I have tried setting them to “USER” visibility, but I was unable to flash the BIOS as it was recognized as “not an UEFI bios” (I formatted in FAT32 and renamed the .CAP etc.)

I am currently lacking the experience to be able to make these modifications and to grasp whether they are possible, thus I would greatly appreciate it if someone could mod this bios for me (if that’s possible.

Your mod actions with AMIBCP seems correct and it was valid in AMI IV bioses…now you cant flash this mod files in ASUS EZ flash, due to Asus security…as you now noticed.

That mb model must use the ASUS BFB feature to flash mod files, ASUS file name on CAP is required as normal procedure.
An advice…a spare USB with the original CAP file for any recover.
Good luck.
