Hello All,
Any chance someone can mod the latest BIOS v2101 with the latest VROC EFI/OROM versions. Any other improvements welcomed too. Thank you! :grinning_face:

*Since i never tested nor have any x299 platform, i use the one that was seems to be fine for x299 for the VROC modules, so i went with v7 of it, please test and see if it works on your use case, would love to have a feedback :slight_smile:

Thank you so much Koekieezz! so far so good. I do have a question are you familiar
with Bifurcation? I have a ROG RAMPAGE VI EXTREME ENCORE and using Hyper M.2 x16 card w/ 4 x intel 7600p SSDs in RAID 0. I dont see Bifurcation setting anywhere and the performance seems a little low from my previous testing on the original ROG RAMPAGE VI EXTREME. it sees the cards link at x4 speed. By the way my cpu is i9-10980XE.

And no single M.2 storage device in the consumer market range, will need or request more that x4 lanes from the bus, the only evolution is PCIe specs.

Im familiar with Bifurication, however i think this board does x16x16x4 or x16x8x8 for your cpu, depends on how it was configured on the Hyper m.2.

Did you put it at 2nd x16 slot?

I tried both the 1st and the 2nd slot but no difference. I did set it to mode 1 x16/x16/x8. Do you know if the board sets the slots to “X4+X4+X4+X4” under the hood when the expansion card is installed?

Could you see “CPU Storage Configuration” option under Advanced menu?

Or maybe, elaborate (maybe give some pictures) of what menu that are available in your bios under advanced tab.

Thanks, are there any new updates or make new mod for newer bios dependencies ?
