[Request] Asus Sabertooth Z77 BIOS with NVMe+ReBar Support

Hi guys,

I’m looking to obtain a .cap file that will support both nvme booting and ReBar functionality I’m also fully open to learning how to do it myself but just need the right guidance in where to start and how that looks.

I will offer a donation to anyone that’s willing to help out, since I know there is already a .cap file floating for nvme support on this board the only thing would be getting the ReBar support.

@Notafarmer Are you flashing this with CH341A or using Bios Flashback? If you use CH341A, make sure to share your bios dump here or via transfer.it.

You can test this: Z77ST_Complete.rar (4.0 MB) (flash using bios flashback)

To enable rebar, you can refer to this post.

One thing to note is that Rebar size is limited in this platform (max 8GiB BAR size with 32GiB of ram, or 16GiB of Bar Size with 24GiB of ram), so keep this in mind. Please test thoroughly

If everything works fine and rebar is working, and if you dont mind, could you please take a screenshot similiar to this:

Did you manage it? If yes i’ll gladly can offer you a small gift, for a ready bios file, thank you.

Everything is working properly so far! Thank you for helping me get this working and I also apologize for the late response as life got busy.

I flashed the modified BIOS using BIOS Flashback, not CH341A. NVMe boot is working successfully and I was also able to get ReBAR working with the ReBarState method. Also, I like the new boot screen, what a cool touch you implemented!

I’m running 32GB DDR3, so as you mentioned, the ReBAR size is limited to roughly 8GB on this platform. I’m currently on Debian with a custom kernel and newer Nvidia drivers so the photos were taken off off my command line.

I’ll continue testing and benchmark it to make sure everything is stable. Thank you again for your help with this! Also, I uploaded a post on r/overclocking forum on Reddit thanking you and showcasing the build if you want to go check that out.
