Hi, I was wondering if there was any modded bios (I’ve searched but to no avail) that changes the parameters you can set on the fans. As it is right now the lowest value Q fan let’s you set for the chassi fans are 40c as a lower limit with a dutycycle of 60% in manual mode. I use this old board with a I7 4770K @ 4.2ghz, 1,225v. running Truenas Scale. CPU idles at about 35 - 40c depending on the ambient temp of the room. When i ran this as a windows system i used software to controll the fans in windows wich made the machine whisper quiet. Now i have to set the fans through the bios. I would be happy to just be able to set the minimum value of the chassi fans lower then 60%, preferably something like 20% to start with (I know some fans won’t spin at 20% but i can start from there and increase) to make the “Fancurve” longer. Is there any way to remove this limitation?
Much appreciated, Leonas
