so for me the linked 1005 version…i have the extreme motherboard version.

and all unlocks.

@philsrb - yes, I noticed you had another board than this topic 
What you mention above is not ME version, that is a CPU microcode version, like we’ve been discussing here past few pages.
What CPU do you have? We’ve been discussing 906EA microcodes, if you have 906EC I do not have the early microcodes you want for that CPUID, you’ll have to wait and see if Chinobino has them

Ill go with the oldest version 084.
In pch i have a submenu for pciexpress and ioapic entries on the version 1005…in newer versions it is gone. And full unlock. What can be unlocked, i would prefer unlocked in settings for manual config. Thanks for your time and efforrt and especially patience

@philsrb - Your image is too huge, cropped off, and inside submenus (not the advanced page only) I can’t tell what you are showing there. Doesn’t look like what I asked, I didn’t want to know what was inside anything except at root of Advanced.
Don’t go into any menu except advanced, inside advanced do you see the submenu I mentioned (PCH Configuration)? Don’t go into it, I only asked if you see that submenu or not, it’s a simple question

thanks is very very kind of you. i have flashed it on bios 1 and it shows me the unlocked options. in intel me version it shows 12.0.39.1431
on bios 2 which is also 1005 but not the modded one it shows 12.0.6.1120
i flased the modded bios with asus flashback port directly. is it alright?
right now for some reason when i boot win 10 it crashes after a minute. linux boots alright na runs i think i noticed some error when shutting it down though.
after turning off oc i dont have the problem anymore guesss ill have to reset all the parameters manually
alright…so after setting oc back to 5ghz and fixed vcore of 1.35 llc4 no avxoffset i get around 3-5c lower temps at first impression. on my system 3-5c is a lot since cooling is very strong. before i had max temp of around 76c on one core and now i get 71c on that same one which is a lot…of course its highly subjective but thats the first impression. ill report about performance and in detail after a while.

@philsrb - I did not do anything to ME, only unlocked the settings you wanted and put in the uCode you asked for 906EC Rev 84.
Also, I only made one BIOS, not sure what you mean about “BIOS 2” Yes, flash it via USB Flashback
Any errors you see may be related to that very old microcode, which windows8-10 may replace once you get into OS (you’ll have to check in windows what is live/in-use microcode with HWINFO64 or AIDA64)
Yes, you should always load optimized defaults after you flash, then reboot back to BIOS and make all changes you also need.
@Cancretto - You’re welcome. Yes, as I mentioned, I can do full unlocked BIOS menus, but I need to see images of all your currently visible BIOS pages, all submenus and all settings (ALL)
@Lost_N_BIOS do you saw some locked XP compatibility option in thoose Apex bios ?

About HPET unlocking if I provide you 2 bios for Gene is it possible for you to unlock them please ? also on older motherboard there was an “Execute Disable Bit” Enabled or Disabled option if it’s exist now is it possible to also make it appear in bios option.Both have a good performance impact in some benchmark ^^

@Doc.Brown - Yes, sorry I’d help if I knew about that, but I’ve never touched any of that kind of stuff so I wouldn’t even have a clue where to look or how to look into the module etc.
Yes, I can make those edits for you, please make a thread about the Gene so others can find the mod BIOS too. I assume it has USB Flashback correct? If yes, then yeah please make a thread and I’ll edit stock BIOS that way everyone can use.
If it does not have USB Flashback, then no need for a thread just send me the BIOS in a zip and I’ll do the edits. Add a text file in there explaining what you want done to each BIOS, including whatever older one you mentioned (hopefully I can edit it too)

Do you use AMIBCP to make the mod ? (I’ve tried it but there’s a problem of too much strings so the good tabs to make appear/disappear options are missing,while it’s ok for Maximus 9 and 10 bioses).

Also another thing man, the modded bioses you sent are using my motherboard ids or are just standard bioses?
