Hello fellow modders!
Sorry for my english as I’m just a German pleb with limited vocabulary.
I stumbled upon some modded bioses for ASrock Taichi motherboards supporting zen3 CPUs on a320 and b350 chipsets. Since I got dual BIOS on my mainboard I’m eager to give it a shot - I got my ch341A usb flasher and neoflash available - but now that I can get started I’m kind of at a loss since I don’t really want to brick my mobo.
So has anyone done that before or even used the Q-Flash Utility to crossflash some x470 BIOS to the X370 gaming k7 - which appears to be the easiest way?
Also a further question that occurred when I did some research that somehow 1rst gen Ryzen CPUs will no longer work after the flash has been done - can anyone confirm or decline that info? I’d mean I’d have to grab a zen3 CPU right afterwards to make it work (or zen2 to be compatible with both versions…)?
If someone needs to put time and effort into this I’m willing to make it worth your while.
Godspeed and thanks in advance!
