I’m newbie her and I’m not an advanced “modder” so I should be very grateful for some help.
Trying to unlock the MSR 0xE2 register on the latest released bios 3003 on my ASUS C422 mobo. The release before (1202) was fortunately unlocked so I’m using that one now for booting my “Hackintosh” with Open Core 0.5.2
I’ve already tried booth with finding “CFG Lock” with UEFITool and then “setup_var_3 0x537 0x00” with Grub and with CodeRush UEFIPatcher without success.
When verifying with VerifyMSRE2.efi my register still show up as locked. Another question is to try to unhide all hidden directories. Is that possible and in that case how.
