[Request] CLEAN BIOS for Acer Aspire E1-570G

Hello everyone.
I know it’s not a mod request but my older laptop is bricked and I have big suspect that BIOS has died (blue screen happened and then no beeps after the laptop power up even if I remove the RAM).
Could anyone kindly send me standard clean BIOS for my E1-570G ? Or maybe advise where can I download it? The global acer website is not accessible any more and thei current website does not have any BIOS download options.
Thanks in advance!

Z5WE1 or Q5WT6?

Hm…
Where to check? It’s bricked so I can’t look in BIOS itself.
The full model name is E1-570G-53338G1TMnkk

Thanks!

If unsure about the type (and as always):

Male a valid (at least 2 a 100% identical reads with a firmware structure in UEFIToolNE) dump of your own - possibly - bricked firmware. This way you find out if a) there are really signs for a brick and b) which type your machine is and c) you might keep machine specific information (possibly less important for an older machine).

A ch341A dump would be useful…
And preferable before any erase/write.

Thanks!

I don’t think that I would be able to read the ROM because the laptop does not boot at all and does not even beep when I remove RAM.

So I thought to try blindly re-flashing the BIOS from the USB dongle using Fn+ESC method as a last resort before either trashing it or going to the repair shop for extensive tests.

So I am sure there is no way to make the situation worse than it already is )

Thanks a lot for your help!

It will not if EC is also corrupted…and even so, not always working depending on corrupted data.
The link provided (usally a blank system data) is an Image for SPI IC programming (2 ICs Main bios and EC) not for USB Crisys Revovery, the Crisys recovery only uses the main bios area and for that its used the Acer file.
Do yourself a favor and get a cheap CH341A… because if EC IC data is corrupted, for sure you’ll be needing one.

Wrong… your system ID and Win Key data is in risk if you want to recover it from actual data on the IC.

Ok understood…

Thanks a lot for the explanation!

P.S. I am not sure if I need the system ID data, maybe only to re-install windows that was bought with the laptop.

I would hold on with reflashing anyway then, better to do a diagnostics first.

Thanks everyone for the help!
