Hi everyone,
I’m struggling with a corrupted/unstable ME Region on a Gigabyte G5 MF (Clevo V150RND) motherboard. I’m trying to perform a “Clean ME” procedure, but I’ve hit a Version Mismatch / Tool Gap wall.
Current Setup & Specs:
-
Laptop: Gigabyte G5 MF (Clevo V150RND)
-
Platform: Alder Lake-P / Raptor Lake-P
-
Original Backup ME:
16.1.25.2049(SKU: Consumer LP, VCN: 14, State: Initialized) -
Available Donor (from Official BIOS FB12):
16.1.27.2176(SKU: Consumer LP, VCN: 16, State: Configured)
The Problem: My current set of tools (Intel CSME System Tools v16.1 r0 - mFIT v16.1.25.2091) is unable to parse the newer 16.1.27 donor image.
-
Error in mFIT: “Unable to parse CSE image” or “Failed to instantiate container CseRegion:0.1”.
-
It seems the manifest structure of the
2176build is not recognized by the2091toolset.
What I need:
-
Intel CSME System Tools v16.1 r2 (or newer) – specifically
mFIT.exeversion16.1.27.xxxxor higher. -
Alternatively, a Clean RGN/Configured image for CSME 16.1.25.2049 Consumer LP so I can stay within my current toolset’s capabilities.
I have all the dumps and ME Analyzer logs ready if needed. Any help in bridging this tool gap or providing a compatible clean region would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance
