[Request] Dell Inspiron 17R SE 7720 bios unlock (or help to do it)

Hi all,

I want to unlock the BIOS of my Dell Inspiron 17R SE 7720, mainly to disable HyperThreading and to manage some advanced BIOS settings.
All online BIOS I found are old and/or link are broken.

I can try to mod it myself if someone can explain what to look in the BIOS file

I am experiencing the same issue but I need to have my dell accept a non OEM battery.
Does anyone in this forum know how to hack BIOSes??
How T F did Linus Tech Tips do it?

If your problem is flashing without the battery, just edit the platform.ini [AC_Adapter] in the FD file, but if you don’t have an FD file with a valid certificate, then I also have the same problem with no solution for as long as it has been, but you can try to renew the subscription expired if you can let me know!
