Since the D800 and M60 share the same motherboard I flashed the latest/A13 D800 BIOS to my M60, but it turned it into a Latitude D800 which I don’t want. With that comes my question: is there anyone on this site who can change the strings in the BIOS to Precision M60? BIOS here: https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-us/…riverId=R103840
If I knew what I was doing I would have done it myself with HxD but i’d rather not fuck up a D800/M60, even though I own a bunch of motherboards for them now.
@User32 , Do you think this will help? Ok, but why not just install Precison M60 BIOS?

Thanks, but someone on MDL said the M60 A09 and D800 A13 BIOSes are actually identical.
How’d you do this anyways?
Well… They are designed for the same motherboard, but in the D800 BIOS I can not find a single mention of the M60, and in the M60 not a single mention of the D800. It’s logical. Also, I can’t say that a couple of lines are the only thing in which they differ.
