So I own a DL380p generation 8 server computer, I know its supposed to be reliable and redundant but thing is I was too broke to get a x79 chipset computer so im stuck with this loud computer and I want to make the best out of it, I’ve been looking at people modding their bios and making these Xeon cpus unlock their turbo boost and i want to do that to get best performance, and I also saw a video from Ghost Spectre modding a x79 motherboard to have ram overclocking capabilities and I would like to do that to get my ram clocked higher and yeah I think It’d be an interesting experience, and honestly im not too worried because the computer has a backup bios I could use in case everything goes wrong. So well do I just extract my bios rom and put it here then reflash it myself? honestly this is a whole new concept to me and im pretty new to this forum so yeah lol. Also I’ve been wondering, since b450 motherboards had chipsets that could support one x16 slot with pcie 4.0 could the c600 chipset in my motherboard probably handle that or is it physically incapable because of how old it is, because if I could get pcie 4.0 into it I could probably get new graphics card and give my computer new capability
