Thank you very much!))) V1.0 exactly what i need) Besides as i know V1.0 and 1.1 have identical BIOS?
Hi! Maybe anybody can made “4G Decoding” mod for X79-UD3 rev.1.0?
Here you go, with Nvme Capable + Rebar Capable
X79UD3.rar (3.6 MB)
How to Enable: Enabling hidden 4G decoding · xCuri0/ReBarUEFI Wiki · GitHub
Enabling Resizable BAR if gpu support: use this app (run as admin) and set to 32 (for unlimited Size) and reboot.
Here is the Offset for Above 4G Decode:
Make sure to use pure UEFI in the bios settings before enabling Resizable Bar and Above 4G Decoding.
Could you give screenshot of GPUZ on PCIE Resizable bar and the first page of Vulkan there?
Or something like this (not with radeon cause u use nvidia):
Thank you, this would be useful for @Kuri0 . You could visit this Github Page if you want to submit your results
BTW, i think you didnt enable 4G yet + Resizable Bar is not set to unlimited, but you do have the UEFI only boot ig, check out the link i post before on how to enable Above 4G Decode and the Rebar.
I didn’t found “Above 4G Decode” in patched BIOS - is it OK?
BAR1 size is still 256MB. Is this the most the GPU supports ?
Its variable is 0x4 for the 4G Decode, you need to enable it via Grub Method i posted link above (just read number 5 and continue, you dont need to extract anything as i did inform the offset for 4G Decode)
If you did manage to enable above 4g decodig via grub method, and all 6GB are able to be used (make sure Rebarstate.exe already been run as admin, and set to 32), please post results like the 2nd screenshot here
I am using Linux (RaveOS), so because that I asked “4G” and “ReBar” in BIOS… Windows ReBar is not my target sorry! But thank you very much for help!
ReBarState also works on Linux you have to build it from source (CMake) tho. Or you can run it from Windows if you have it installed
Well, the only easy way to enable it is by using the grub method for the Above 4G
