Hello,
I have a Fujitsu tablet, model Q5010/DE, CPU Intel N4020. The on-board memory is 4GB, K4F6E3S4HMMGCJ, it seems like 2G, and two of them are 4G, so I replaced it with K4FBE3D4HMMGCJ, which is supposed to be a single 4G, and two of them should be 8G. It’s still working fine, but the BIOS and windows still show the memory as 4G.
I heard that some people upgrade the memory by changing the SPD information in the BIOS after replacing it, so I read out the BIOS and looked at the HEX in an editor to try to find information about the memory SPD, but I couldn’t find it. Would modifying the BIOS help and how should I do it? The file below is a backup of the BIOS.
Q5010.zip (5.5 MB)
Anyone have a clue? Thanks.
