[Request] Fully Enabling vpro/ME on an optiplex 9020

Been at this for awhile and read through the other threads multiple times now. I bought a used Optiplex 9020 with firmware A25. It has an i7-4790 processor. I followed the procedure from the other thread by putting the jumper on the rst post and it wouldn’t post at all. After removing the jumper, when it boots, it comes up with “invalid configuration, hit f1 to continue”. I did and then tried to run

fptw64 -d htpc.bin -me

But I get an error stating

Error 26:The host CPU does not have access to the CPU area. To enable read access for this operation, you must modify the descriptor settings to give host access to this region.

I didn’t see anything about this in the other 9020 threads so I’m stuck.

Ultimately I want to dump the ME bin and reenable the disabled ME options with fitc.exe and then write it back to the ME bios. It feels like I can getting closer but missing something simple.

Jumper is labeled “Service_Mode”

The jumper was covered by a card in the PCI slot. After setting it, the procedure worked perfectly!

In Meshcommander. Unless there is a workaround for a GPU installed to be able to KVM, I don’t think remote control is going to work. Keep getting “KVM disconnection. This may indicate that the Intel AMT is unable to capture the display. (Try RLE8 encoding), or unsupported GPU. Otherwise Meshcommander connects to it.
