[Request] GA-H110M-Gaming 3 (rev. 1.0) BIOS with i3-9100F Support

Hi i was about to upgrade my CPU to i3-9100f Im using i3-7100 for now

how to mod H110M to support i3-9100f?

Edit by Fernando: Thread title customized

Use CoffeeTime 0.99 to modify any BIOS for this motherboard that supports Kaby Lake (so that’s any BIOS except for F1) and then flash the modified BIOS using EFIFlash from a bootable USB stick (you can use FreeDOS or EFI shell).

Note that there are 2 revisions of the production 9100F that can be identified by S-Spec, which can be found on the retail box sticker or printed on the IHS (Integrated Heat Spreader);

9100F (S-Spec SRF7W) = B0 revision = CPUID 906EB

9100F (S=Spec SRF6N) = U0 Revision = CPUID 906EA

Note that the B0 revision is easier to get running as it does not require any CPU socket pin isolation - just mod the BIOS and install the CPU.

If you have any further questions just ask

Hi after i mod the bios will I still can use my i3-7100? Because I haven’t bought the i3-9100f

@Jacky_Anwar As long as you leave the CPU microcode for 906E9 in the BIOS then yes!
