Ok. Totally new to this whole unlocking thing, I have absolutely no idea what I’m doing. Recently bought this gaming laptop last year. The laptop only came with 8GB of RAM, so I bought 16GB of 3200Mhz memory. Task manager showed it running at 3200Mhz, so I didn’t think anything of it. Fast forward to today where I ran CPU-Z and noticed that my memory has been running at 2666Mhz this entire time! After some Googly research, it seems as though the bios on these laptops are very limited and there is no way to enable XMP, and the only actual way to do so is by ‘modding’ the bios. Can someone help me out here? I simply want my memory running at it’s full speed, lol.
