I read some years ago that due to AGESA code, people couldn’t unlock PCIe 4.0 as we had back in the days due to motherboard manufacturers playing with this settings. I remember I tested it and I saw incredible improvements.
Since I have 4.0 nvme and GPU (and only using these 2 for pcie lanes), I would use it again to gain the benefits, especially for nvme, going from 3500MB to 7000MB would be awesome (Platinum P41, currently bottlenecked by 3.0 limit).
I had great stability back then, and with further bios optimizations I’m sure it would be the same even now. So, after all these years and advancements, is it possible now to somehow unlock these limitations, and have PCIe 4.0 again?
