Hello folks,
It’s been many years since I last visited this amazing forum, and it has changed a lot. I still remember the help I received from the great @Fernando when he assisted me with unofficial drivers for my laptop, as some of the drivers didn’t support Windows 7 during the transition to Windows 10, and we made it! Thank you again, @Fernando. I still cherish those good feelings from that time.
Now, I’ve re-registered because I couldn’t find my old account, or maybe it was deleted since the site seems to have changed.
Anyway, I need some help from the experts here. My open-source project, which has been getting great appreciation, is constantly being updated, and here’s the project website: HandleOS, which includes some of my proprietary software.
What I’d like to do is add a switch to my software tool that allows me to check and change the Global C-State status of AMD processors directly from Windows (because with every BIOS update this function always resets and I have to reuse Smokless to redo the procedure.). Just only for this feauture in Handled PC World (for that reason called HandleOS), now I’m using the excellent Smokeless UMAF. I love it, no problem to use it, but for just the C-state I’d like to implement this directly in my software for greater convenience for the end users (especially for less experienced and uncertain users, since Smokeless is a tool that allows you to change many other parameters.
Now, I’m not sure if @AARCH64_EL3, who I believe created Smokeless UMAF, is still active on this forum. So, I’m kindly asking for your help in figuring out how we can solve this together. I’ll be giving credits to this forum and everyone who assists me by adding acknowledgments on my GitHub page for the HandleOS project.
