As part of my life and side-gig I make a lot of builds, I also make a lot of custom builds and sometimes themed builds.
I’ve got a FX9590 / 32GB Corsair Vengeance Pro / 2x RX480 8GB Red Devil system that’s all AMD and black and red and is supposed to bring out the best of AMD’s DDR3 era (with some caveats).
I made an all INTEL machine to counteract it (X58, 24GB G.Skill Ripjaw X, Miserable to obtain Intel Liquid AIO) however I realized VERY quickly that X58 has no native Above 4G or even really a UEFI bios to support the Intel Arc A580 for this.
I benched it, I’m back, and I need advice & help. I want to make a DDR3 mATX computer that supports REBAR & Above 4G with a black/blue motherboard and everything I’ve researched suggests it’s borderline impossible without modding.
I’ve got an X99 Sabertooth build with an Intel Arc B580 modded to add REBAR but I recently learned most X99 boards have the framework for that because Above 4G used to be a thing only on server boards.
Does anyone have a modded BIOS for a Black/Blue mATX board that’s 3rd or 4th gen (or if you can mod my MSI X58 mATX board), that could run the Intel Arc A580? Any help is appreciated to complete this stupid dream I’m working on.
