[Request] Mod Realtek NVMe Controller Firmware

Hello everyone , I have been struggling the last few days to see how Chinese Aliexpress “Companies” or “Individual Users” manage to sell fakes , in particular M2 SSD NVMe because a friend of mine got scammed , I wanted to see/inspect how do they make such good fakes some even get detected by the official Samsung software but the performance is 12x lower , I my friend fake is basically the device that I mentioned made by Realtek and modifitied to be like Samsung at least recognized by the system , I would be more than greatful your future help , thank you in advance and I wish you best regards , this is how is seen by the system and what I try to modify to play around

Edit by Fernando: Thread title shortened and customized

@AndreBest
Welcome to the Win-Raid Forum!
Since you are obviously searching for a suitable NVMe driver (and not a Firmware, which is only available on Realtek’s support pages), I have customized your chosen thread title.

Now to your request:
You can find >here< the 64bit Realtek NVMe driver v1.4.1.0, which definitely supports the HardwareIDs of the related NVMe Controller.
Questions:

  1. With which PC/notebook (manufacturer/model) do you want to use the related M.2 NVMe SSD?
  2. Which Windows OS do you want to install onto the NVMe SSD?

Hi Fernando ,I appreciate your help but I do not look for the driver , I look for the firmware itself , I want to manipulate the NVMe SSD itself not the computer that is used on , that is why I feel like my request was previously formatted correctly , I can find the drivers but I do not look for those.

  1. I want the device to be used on all devices that support m2 nvme connection that is why I need to edit the firmware of the device itself to be recognizeable
  2. I do not want to install any OS on the NVMe SSD , I want to edit its firmware to give different details to the device that is using it

If so, why did you put your request into the Forum Category “Drivers”? The Forum Category “BIOS Modding” will match much better.

Don’t expect any help here regarding the requested Firmware modding. The Firmware is Copyright protected by the chip manufacturer and our Forum will not support any violation of it.
By the way - once the Windows OS is installed and running fine, users of nearly all NVMe SSDs are able to replace the in-use NVMe driver by an NVMe driver from another Company (e.g. Samsung or Micron).
Only restrictions:
a) The desired NVMe driver has to support the in-use Windows OS and
b) the driver installation has to be forced by using the “Have Disk” button.

In terms of category indeed I did not know for sure where to place my request , I am quite new overall to the forum , I will move it if that is the case .

I do not look to violate any laws in fact I also emailed the official company firmware waiting for their help but if I can get it faster I would like it to , with the official firmware I want to see the differences that people from China who counterfit products of other brands make it possible, and as I said I do not look to use it , I do not look to install any OS on , the device is just used to research how counterfits work , there are 3 types and this is the lowest one in terms of accuracy , so basically whoever extracted and modified the VEN_10EC&DEV_5765 firmware was able to make the computer read it as a samsung 990 pro nvme ssd and make the original samsung software recognize it as an original ssd but as I said with 12x lower values , to be able to spoof the size of a hard disk or the ID is quite easy in a way or another but to be able to spoof all details and even make it fool the software of the actual brand I find it more than impressive which at the current time I am investigating and crafting reports at the same time
