Hello everyone,
I own a VIT (Inspur OEM) all-in-one PC, model E1210-01, with motherboard H81H3-CN A001 (chipset Intel H81, AMI Aptio IV BIOS, version 2.15.1236 dated 26/06/2014).
Originally it came with a Pentium G3250, and my Radeon RX580 GPU worked perfectly. Recently I upgraded to a Xeon E3-1245 v3. The system POSTs with the iGPU, but when I install the RX580, fans spin and the system hangs without beeps or video output.
I already tried:
Setting PEG as primary graphics, disabling IGD multi-monitor.
Enabling CSM
Boot mode = UEFI + Legacy.
From what I understand, the issue is outdated microcodes for Xeon E3 v3 and missing/old GOP driver for modern GPUs (Polaris). I believe a custom BIOS with updated CPU microcodes and VBIOS/GOP modules could solve this and I have 0 idea on how to do this.
Unfortunately, I cannot afford a new motherboard right now due to financial difficulties, so fixing this BIOS is my only option to keep this machine useful.
Could someone please help me inject the latest Haswell Xeon microcodes and a newer GOP driver so my RX580 can POST with this CPU?
This is my current bios: https://www.mediafire.com/file/fl2qo1kqzchidpk/Bios_vit_e1210-01.rom/file?dkey=5x1rkmi9cif&r=1457
Any guidance or a modded file would be a lifesaver. Thanks a lot in advance to anyone willing to help!
