Hi, everyone… I come here with request… Please accept my apologies if I’m not posting in correct section…Now my story:
I have a notebook Dell Latitude XT3, which has a WWAN card ocupated by some card like wifi or 3g wan(i’m not sure because I don’t useit) and I want to use this WWAN as mSATA. According to this web page, Dell XT3 seams to be compatible with mSATA but in reality I’ve already tested with 50mm mSATA SSD, Samsung PM-541, without any succes(the mSATA drive not shows in bios).
I’m wondering if it’s possible to modify XT3 BIOS to make WWAN working like mSATA. Thanks for any help!

I think it may have nothing to do with the bios
The interface is similar between msata and minipcie,but if it support all of the two,it would have a hardware switch in the machine.
According to the DELL machine,I don’t think it would have the switch

Chinese guru modded it by “snap line”,and he even modded SATA3 speed!!!
To complicated … without his skils it’s to risky, I can “fry” the motherboard. I thought the bios modded it’s the key…
