Hello everyone,
Im new here and I am really bad at doing anything else other than shooting heads in CS:GO/ Valorant. I have an issue with Valorant, where HPET ON makes my game run at 200-300 fps with drops to 100 and HPET OFF- 500-600 stable fps, doesn’t drop below 400. My game runs alot better with HPET disabled in OS, mouse movement is sharper but the game seems abit out of sync. I feel like im either ahead or behind in the game and would love to try and Disable HPET in BIOS aswell. I’ve heard that you should have it ON/ON or OFF/ON. My cpu is r5 5600x, 3060ti phoenix gs gpu. You can find the latest BIOS for MSI B550M Mortar Wifi on Msi’s official page. I tried speaking to them but they refused to send me a version that has hpet disabled. Reason was: “sorry amd recommends hpet enabled” but
