I apologize in advance for my English, I am writing a message with the help of a translator.
My computer has an engineering “12900hk” Q015 purchased on Ali. I ran into the problem that my motherboard cannot set the P-core multiplier above 44 in the BIOS settings. When you try to set the multiplier to 50 and then press Enter, it resets the maximum multiplier to 44.
In the “Turbo Ratio” mode, you can set a multiplier of 50, but the maximum frequency for all cores is 4.4 GHz.
- There is no such problem with e-cores.
Intel XTU allows you to set all the necessary settings for me, but I ran into the problem that when overclocking * a “blue screen” crashes through the program in one of my games, followed by a reboot and overclocking * everything works fine until the first computer shutdown.
Is there any way to modify the BIOS so that you can set any arbitrary multiplier on the P-cores?
The latest BIOS version from the manufacturer’s website is installed: 7E29v18
