Easy…get to work and get urself more instructed.

[HowTo] Get full NVMe support for all Systems with an AMI UEFI BIOS

@yuuta : Welcome to the Win-RAID Forum!
My advice: Follow MeatWar’s link and try the BIOS modification yourself. The modification itself is not risky at all.
If you are unsure regarding your work, post the original and your modded BIOS into >this< thread and we will check your work and give you a “thumbs up” or “thumbs down”.
Good luck!

Hi made it for him , but not sure as there were two positions where to put the NMVE module, then i checked the “DXE” amd “CSMCORE” to get the right volume.
Here is the original and modified NVME Bios to give a try , tihis mod is based on AsRock H61M bios v.2.00 :

https://www.asrock.com/mb/intel/h61m/#BIOS

https://www.mediafire.com/file/p57gz3te4…dd_Mod.rar/file

@Fernando if you can check it , then it will be quite for any user who want to use it , and for me too !!!
Regards

@BDMaster : According to my check your modded BIOS seems to be fine.
Flash it and report here, whether you were thereafter able to boot off the NVMe SSD or not.
Good luck!

This may be late but i have modded my Bios on my H61M-VS4 worked perfectly absolute novice and my first time tying.
some things where a bit confusing but end of the day booted up like a charm
Downloaded the P1.40 Bios for my board
got an error that my file was to large, followed the steps give.
felt comfortable with deleting the “6Dxe” files suggested by MeatWar in to thread as i assumed that any Service linked to “IPV6” are obsolete for a PC leaved my “4Dxe” files and was able to load the “NvmExpressDxe_5.ffs” to the bios file.

if you read every step and follow it to the “T” you as well can boot nvme.2 via your PCIE slot (just a bit of a note to a novice as i was unsure this would work PCIE x1 by the way).

@Craig00
Welcome to the Win-Raid Forum and thanks for your report.
By the way - the network related DXE drivers are only required for systems, which are using or want to use the “Wake-on-LAN” BIOS feature.
Enjoy the Forum!
