[Request] NVMe mod ASUS P9X79 BIOS (Lecacy & UEFI)

Hello, I have a samsung 970 SSD and I decided to install it into my ASUS P9X79 system, but the BIOS won’t see it, only windows. Is there something that could fix this? I know theres option ROMs and UEFI addons and I’d like to see if I could have both legacy and UEFI working. I mainly need legacy to work though since I run older software on this computer.
BIOS located on this page, version 4801: https://www.asus.com/us/supportonly/p9x79/helpdesk_bios/

Welcome to the Win-Raid Forum!
It is an easy work, which can be done by nearly all interested users themselves.
Here are the related Guides:
Guide about how to add a specific NVMe Option ROM to the BIOS (Legacy Boot Support)
Guide about how to add an EFI NVMe module to an AMI UEFI BIOS (UEFI Boot Support)
Good luck!

How would I extract the ASUS BIOS though, and what tools would I need to modify it aside from those NVMe modules?

You can extract the ASUS BIOS by using any Unzip tool (WinZip, 7-Zip or WinRAR).
Furthermore you will need a BIOS tool, which is able to modify an AMI Aptio IV UEFI BIOS.
You can find them within the start posts of >this< and >this< thread. The first one is about how to get the customized NVMe Option ROM inserted into the target BIOS.
