[Request] NVMe support for ASRock 890FX Deluxe5

Good day. I read your advice on the Win-raid forum with great interest. I am 73 years old and I am new to trying to modify software. I built the PC myself and it works quite well. I would like to run my W10pro system from an NVMe disk. Little to worry about killing my PC. Could you please help me? MB is ASRock 890FX deluxe5 and I have 970 EVO Plus disk. This disc is inserted in the internal AXAGON PCIe adapter for NVMe. It works great as a second drive, I didn’t have anything faster on my computer. Unfortunately, Bios does not support booting my MB from such a mounted disk. I’m going to interfere in the bios myself. Thank you for your answer or help. Klement Jan

EDIT by Fernando: Thread moved into the “BIOS Modding Request” Sub-Forum and title specified

@Fishmann - here, flash with Instant Flash from within BIOS, put BIOS on FAT32 USB not in folder (keep same name as original BIOS, so don’t mix them up)

Then you will need to do a clean windows install, follow all steps exactly as outlined here in step #4 of the “This is what you should do” section - [Guide] How to get full NVMe support for all Systems with an AMI UEFI BIOS

Dear friend, I did everything according to your advice and I am very grateful to you. My comp now runs as scared. Speed and stability is excellent.

@Fishmann - Great to hear you got it working, and can now enjoy that fast NVME Speed!
You’re welcome!

@Lost_N_BIOS

I´m new here and from Germany, so sorry for my poor english.
I found this forum via Google, because I´m facing the same problem with the same board. When I got it right, the BIOS has to be modded by flashing with a new file?
I Tried to download the modded BIOS file from your link above, but the link did not work for me.
Would it be possible to post a new working link or send me the file in a personal message?

Regards,
Hoschy

@ [Fishmann]:
Do you still have the modded BIOS file and would share it with me to solve the same issue on my machine?
