I have a home NAS/homelab built on MSI X99A RAIDER. It has pretty decent configuration capable to run local LLM and transcode videos. Currently I am looking for the BIOS mod to enable PCI-E bifurcation. I use two NVMe SSDs: 1st is a system drive in the embedded M2 slot and 2nd is a some sort of apps vault in PCI-E slot via adapter and now need more fast storage. I know X99 chipset supports bifurcation and I even found some traces of it in the latest BIOS file (.P71). Does anybody have the same problem? How did you solve it? I would really appreciate it if someone share own experience or share own BIOS image for that motherboard. Please help.
