@Nem You have the same problem most people have with Samsung memory - its just crap at overclocking. That doesn’t really matter though all it means is we optimise memory timings for stock frequency which will net you most of the performance gain you would get compared to if you had Hynix or Micron memory. Attached vBIOS has timings that should be fine for your card, running DDU and reinstalling the driver would be a good idea after the flash as timing adjustments can screw a pre-installed driver up.
I will flash tonight and do the last test an so on i believe we achieved the best stable results with this card. Will let you know tonight how things go.
Ok sorry i only got time last night to test the vbios with the mem you modded. So as is on 2000mhz all stable and temps under 70c. Now i just wanted tee see what happens if i push the mem further. So started 2050mhz and went up to 2100mhz not further so far but up to 2100mhz stable benches and ingame with no errors in hwinfo. Before you modded the vbios and mem on 2050mhz the errors started. I did not notice much difference on trasfer rate. On 2000mhz the rate is about 220gb/s and the let’s say 2100mhz it went up to 228 gb/s so yes there is a little difference but now vs the original vbios there is alot difference, 190 gb/s vs 228 gb/s and if is stable. So now i just want to ask should i push and try to get 2150 or higher ? Will i maybe get 230 gb/s . Before i attempt this what will you advise?
