[Request] Remove Spectre/Meltdown Microcode from MSI X299 Creation BIOS

Hi, i’d like some help with removing the security patches from the CPU microcode of this motherboard’s bios:
Motherboard/MEG-X299-CREATION/support#bios
I would like Bios ver. 7C06v16 modded.

I’m not too familiar with how it works, but a bios from this board and from around 2017 should have no spectre/meltdown patches. I think yall use MMtool or smth for this.

Also, how would I flash a modded bios onto a MSI board? I’ve used efiflash and DOS to flash modded giga bioses before but am unfamiliar with MSI.

Read completely the first 2 posts.

Get the desired mcodes and use/test 3 tools for it: AMI MMTool 5.02 / UEFItool / UBU, (Dont ask for the AMI tools)
Search in forum or external sources

Use Flash BIOS Button or M-FLASH, do NOT make any flash in OS environment.

@firewrath9 have you tried InSpectre? I usually use that app to disable Spectre and Meltdown…

Inspectre only patches the windows Spectre and Meltdown mitigations, not the ones baked into the microcode on newer bioses.
