I’m trying to find information about the modification of the bios for Lenovo Thinkpad L470 wwan module.
I find that it uses the EM7455 FRU 01AX748 module, but I have tried with EM7345 and it works sometimes but other times it says the “1802: Unauthorized network card is plugged in - Power off and remove the network card (1199/A001). System is halted”. And doesn’t start the OS (I have installed the drivers from Lenovo).
I saw that some people in older models changes in the bios to keep this step or remove this from something called whitelist and works but I don’t have the knowledge or resources to be able to make that modification on my own and it’s because I’m here to try to find a solution for me and for future people that try to find a solution for that.
