Hello,
I am very new to this forum and I have tried to read up on the subject but I am afraid some of this technicality is beyond my understanding as I am just starting to delve into this subject…
Nvidia has implemented a new feature on their RTX 3000 series graphics cards called Resizable BAR, which is essentially the same as AMD’s SAM (Smart Access Memory) feature. Several vendors (MSI, EVGA, ASRock etc) have unlocked this feature on their motherboards from Intel 300 series chipsets and up, while ASUS has chosen not to do this (so far at least). I have little hope that they will implement this feature for their Intel 300 series boards and will instead keep to only update Intel 400 & 500 series boards (as they have already done). In order to take advantage of this feature as well (even through it’s early days and not too many games are supported) I would like to enable this on my Z390 board but can’t right now.
Does anyone know if this is even a possibility to mod/ implement on a modded BIOS for a Z390 chipset?
Also, if anyone would be willing to help please let me know:)
I can’t seem to upload the BIOS file since it’s larger than 6MB even when zipped but the current BIOS I am using is Version 1802.
Thank you!
