Hi. I currently have a ROG Strix z270e gaming with an i5 7400. Purchased an i7 8700k second hand not realizing that it was not compatible with this motherboard. Saw on reddit that its possible and was directed to this website. Cool work, but I am completely lost. I dont know where to start with any of this and really dont want to end up with a dead platform.
If you can guide me step by step I can acquire amy information you need as we go. Would be greatly appreciated. Thank you again.
