I’ve sene online that the Xeon E5 v3 lineup had an exploit discovered allowing all core unlock and was wondering whether anyone knows whether this has been achieved on the Supermicro X10 range of board (specifically the X10SRi)
Looks like a simialar thing, it’s hard to understand exactly what that github project is as the English is a little broken… But i’m assuming it’s a way of making a UEFI driver that is injected at boot rather than a BIOS modification to force all core turbo? Does this only work on the motherboard that is referenced in the project?
ASUS Z10PED8-WS Modded BIOS (no microcode) I’m just looking at being able to run all core turbo on my combination of 2690v3 cpu and Supermicro X10SRL-F motherboard. Any ideas?
