I am running a Supermicro X11-SPM-TF with a Intel QL1K (Platinum 8160 ES). This chip is only compatible with the v2.1 bios.
I am using a VROC key for RAID and would appreciate if someone could help me update the RSTe/VROC EFI drivers in the v2.1 bios with the ones in the v3.2 bios.
The v2.1 bios has VROC/RSTe 5.4 and the v3.2 has version 6.2, which works better with Ubuntu.
I have some experience with the UBU tools, but I’ve never replaced actual EFI drivers before.
Can someone help me out please? Thank you!
The v2.1 and v3.2 bioses are here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1zDN-FeTLXVGUf3h5GcpzU9APfEFQIIhS
I used the latest UBU_v1_76_2_3 and extracted the Files_17012020\RAID\VROC\6.2.0.1034 into the correct dir for UBU.

Looks like the replace worked fine. Anything else I need to do?
How do I replace the EFI Intel VROC with VMD?
EDIT: Never mind, I figured it out. I had to go back into Step 1 and run V
the v2.1 bios boots successfully with all VROC/RSTe versions upgraded from 5.4 to 6.2! I had to use the latest UBU tool

Is it to use ubu to modify the BIOS file downloaded from this page(https://www.supermicro.org.cn/support/resources/results.aspx), and then flash the modified file into the machine according to the supermicro official method ?
I downloaded an older version of the bios (v2.1) from supermicro (used the wayback machine to get the link since they don’t post old bioses).
I then used the latest ubu (v1_76_2_3) to correct the vroc/rste efi modules. Then i flashed it using IPMI interface
