[Request] TPM 2.0 Support for GA-Z97X-UD5H-BK with BIOS F8

Hi,

Version F9d for this motherboard supports TPM 2.0 but seems to break XMP and overclocking. Once I OC the CPU or enable XMP I get boot failure errors no matter what I try. Version F8 should not have this issue. Could someone backport TPM 2.0 to the older, more stable F8 bios?

I’ve been messing around with this, but I can’t seem to figure it out… I’ve extracted “AmiTpm20PlatformPei” from the F9d beta BIOS, but I can’t find a way to insert it into the F8 BIOS. Could anyone help?

Sure… let’s see, with what tool did you extract the PEI?

EDIT: UEFItool_NE for extraction, regular version 0.25/0.28 for insertion.
AMIBCP is not a module manipulation tool.

EDIT: Sorry but no… because, it will not work as you may think, for your pretention, TPM2.0 function merge.
Besides, what makes you believe i miracle will get that space you don’t, as it’s the same file?

EDIT: Don’t know… you’re the one that presented the “PEI” solution…so you must had some clues that from somewhere we don’t know…
Didn’t you noticed that no one has advanced any tips/methods for such merge you want… since the 1rst time you posted.

I used UEFITool, I’ve tried AMIBCP before but it kept complaining the BIOS file would become too big if I inserted the TPM 2.0 part…

I’m getting the same message with 0.2.8 that I got with AMIBCP, it’s out of room. I know this is a big ask, but could you maybe insert the module for me?

I’m guessing it has something to do with the padding, which I don’t know how to change. Just inserting the module would do nothing? Would it need to be linked up in a way?
