Hello winraid community,
My Zenbook 14X OLED 16GB UX3404VA is running a 13900H at way higher voltages than I’d like and it’s overheating pretty badly. I would really like to undervolt my CPU. I’m now more than aware that going for the i9 in a laptop was not my brightest idea. But I just feel like undervolting could be a gamechanger even for batterylife.
I’ve had a hard time researching information on how to enable undervolting on my Zenbook 14X. I’m actually not even sure if it IS possible but i guess IF, this would be the place to be asking. My current BIOS is Version 303 for UX3404VA.
I’ve tried various methods without almost no success. The only thing I was able to unlock was Turbo-Ratio-Limits through this Youtube tutorial from ‘‘Laptop Tweaking Tips’’ called '‘Full CPU Optimization Guide’. I have Virtualization and Secure Boot disabled.
If anyone out there has more information and/or ideas on unlocking undervolting on this system please please please share! Save me from Intels Thermal Hell
