[Request] Unlocked Acer Predator PH3D15-71 BIOS

@Sweet_Kitten This is a 3D model that looked similar to the PH16-71. Is it possible to unlock the 2nd Advanced menu for this laptop? I tried using the PH16-71 and PH18-71 SREP config created by Maxinator500 on github, but the 2nd advanced menu did not show up, only the hidden option of the existing tab showed up, I think the bios of this laptop is a bit different to PH16-71.

I’ll place the IFR txt file extracted by IRFExtract or and the original bios here. Any help is welcomed. Thank you in advanced.

The config file for AN515-46(515-47) should work for PH3D15-71 as well. I can upload a separate config for PH3D15-71 which would unlock more settings. Respond to me in 48 h if you sure you need this.

I have tried AN515-46 SREP, it works, the 2nd Advanced tab showed up, but I don’t see Undervolt Protection any where, by unlocking more settings, could you upload a separate config for PH3D15-71 also? Thank you in advanced!

By the way, Undervolt Protection setting doesn’t seem to do anything. As if mcode itself blocks undervolt, idk. I didn’t make msr dumps of OC_Mailbox before and after disabling the protection.

Aw that is too bad.

I also just found out even though this laptop looks similar to PH16-71, the AC Loadline doesn’t reset back to 170 when tweaked through 2nd advanced menu. Once set then it is forever set, this is nice.

But the cinebench score went down massively when I set AC Loadline to 100, and I found that the VR current limit in the bios is 215A (860) but is grayed out, and setting below that value in ThrottleStop, around 212A can prevent throttling at AC Loadline 100, with IA CEP disabled.

Regarding to this behaviour, I am not sure if disabling IA CEP is actually working or not.

Thank you very much! Will give it a go tomorrow! Is it possible if this commit also be added to Maxinator500’s SREP-Patches to help more people with the spatiallabs model? Or you are not him?

Over time, maybe.
I’d rather make a one-time commit with files for all devices listed as upcoming. But the thing is that I didn’t even start writing cfgs!

I tried, it is working, overclocking lock was gray out on AN515-46 SREP, but at this version I can toggle on and off, thank you very much!
