Can anyone unlock(power limit) for EVGA Z370 FTW Bios ver 1.13? I have an i9 9900k but when I run Linx 0.9.3, my motherboard forces to shut down my PC because of its power limit. Plz help me…
It is most likely the LLC settings causing the issue. When I use the manufacturer specified ones, this would occur. If I use the standard Intel LLC, it fixes the rebooting/shutting down problem.
EVGA Z370 FTW (134-KS-E377-KR) BIOS v1.13
Looking at the 1.13 BIOS it already has PL1 and PL2 set to 4095 Watts (i.e. Power Limits 1 & 2 = unlimited);

PL3 is also disabled by default;
PL4 is enabled but is set to 300 Watt limit;
If you have Intel XTU installed you can check these limits yourself;

What power supply are you using and how old is it? Your PC may be shutting down due to excess power draw on the PSU.

can u unlock everything like what you have done on Classified K BIOS Mod?
When I check my cpu package power while running linx, it says 95w on the monitor.
@bukhalmae145 Your BIOS has no power limits enabled except PL4 (package power limit normally used for SoC’s like the Y and U series) but that doesn’t shut down the PC, it will just throttle the CPU at 300 W.
If you are running Linx and shutting down you could be hitting Tj max (100°C) - are you monitoring the CPU temperatures?
What overclock are you running (frequency and voltage) and what cooling are you using?
[Edit] Here is BIOS 1.13 with all menu options unlocked, I don’t think it will solve the problem but you can do some tests.

I’m using 9900k with kraken x73 and trying for 5.0Ghz(4.7 Cache) overclock. My CPU only reaches to 80C. I checked the package power again with nothing overclocked and it shows 116w again…
Can you show me the picture of your PC(9900k)'s linx result?

does your motherboard limits power to 100w? Can u show me the capture of any hardware monitoring programs while running linx 0.9.3?

Note I can only complete 1 run or it will throttle when it hits Tj max.

Maybe it’s a temp problem for shutdown? What cooling has?
Are u very temp for 108 watt power
