I have a Gigabyte Aorus 15 9KF with an i5-12500H, RTX 4060, and 16GB of DDR5 RAM.
It would be a huge help if I could use Intel XTU or ThrottleStop to undervolt the CPU. This particular laptop runs extremely hot, often reaching nearly 100°C.
Another thing I’d really appreciate is the ability to enable XMP for the memory. After adding another identical RAM module, the frequency dropped from 5600MHz to 4800MHz…
I’m aware that the current BIOS has a “hidden” section under the NVMe tab that allows some tweaks. I’ve already unlocked undervolting and overclocking options in the BIOS, but unfortunately, they don’t appear to be accessible from the operating system only through BIOS (which tbh is quite confusing).
If anyone knows how to fully unlock undervolting or enable XMP profiles, I’d be truly grateful for your help.
